I don’t fly often, and when I do, I usually cannot get any images from the flight I would even consider sharing. Though I reserve window seats with the best potential views, considering the sun’s location, weather conditions, and lighting don’t always cooperate.
Last March, my wife and I flew from Seattle to Burbank. We had great weather (and lighting) for the entire trip, allowing some decent aerial iPhone photographs of the landscape below us.
When we flew over Mount Saint Helens, the Washington Cascades was still covered in a winter blanket of snow, contrasting with the darker, forest-covered surrounding terrain.
