After completing a 2.5 mile hike to lower Crystal Lake in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington (with approximately the last 1/2 mile through deep snow), there was soon a heavy cloud cover over the surrounding peaks.
I waited for a while, hoping for a break in the clouds, however the weather didn’t participate except for when a portion of Crystal Peak decided to make a brief appearance from within the clouds..
