Although I was born and lived in Washington State my entire life, I’ve only been to the top of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, twice in my life. I guess I was never into the touristy things, even though I grew up only 30 miles from the big city and ventured there many times.
It took family members visiting from California to give me a reason to take the elevator to the top of one of Seattle’s most iconic landmarks. Luckily, on this trip, I brought my camera and was able to get a few good captures of the city below, with this one quickly becoming my favorite.
Since that time, the Space Needle has received a complete renovation. I suppose I’ll have to make at least one more trip up the Space Needle in my life to take in the city’s views and the Puget Sound below.
