There is something special about waking up early and exploring new places before the rest of the world wakes up. You get to see the first light of the day and experience a different perspective of the world.
Thatās what I did on this clear autumn morning when I visited Parc du Rouge CloĆ®tre, a historical site and a natural reserve near Brussels, Belgium.
I arrived at the park entrance when it was still dark and quiet. I followed the cobblestone alley leading me to the priory, lit by street lights. I took out my iPhone and captured a few black-and-white photos of the pre-dawn scene. I loved the contrast between the light and the shadows.
The photos captured the place’s mood and atmosphere; I felt like I was walking back in time.
