There are periods in my life where I can’t always pursue all aspects of my creative life. Often, this means I’m not making new photographs for weeks at a time.
Throughout my day, everywhere I go, I see photos in my mind. Most times, it’s while driving by something that catches my eye. Every once in a while, I stumble upon a “found subject” while on foot. It’s usually something odd, not staged, and makes no sense in the context of the environment.
When I experience these moments, I need to feed my creative muse. Luckily, like most of you, I always have a camera (my phone) to fulfill my creative curiosity.
I’ve photographed weird random subjects since I got my first iPhone. Many such images are taking up space on my phone, yet most will never get shared or printed.
On today’s afternoon walk, I came across the above photo. Much different than my usual work. Strange enough to share.
