On a recent visit to Brussels, Belgium, to see my daughter, I learned about the Sonian Forest, a hidden treasure just a stone’s throw away from the bustling city. This unexpected discovery was within reach, and I couldn’t wait to visit.

Giants are long gone, their stories etched in towering stumps, silent testaments to a time when nature reigned supreme.
