Yosemite National Park is home to some of the world’s most iconic and awe-inspiring scenery. From the towering granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome to the cascading waterfalls of Yosemite Falls, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this incredible park.

One of Yosemite National Park’s most popular and photographed features is the Three Brothers. This trio of granite peaks is located on the east side of Yosemite Valley, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.

The Three Brothers are Eagle Peak, Middle Brother, and Lower Brother. Eagle Peak is the highest of the three.

The Ahwahnechee name was “Kom-po-pai-zes,” or sometimes “Pompomposus,” which is translated as “mountains with heads like frogs when ready to leap.”

The Three Brothers are a popular destination for hikers and climbers of all skill levels. Several trails lead to the base of the peaks, and there are also several climbing routes up the faces of the peaks.

If you want a truly unforgettable experience, I recommend visiting Yosemite National Park. The best time to visit Yosemite National Park is during the spring or fall when the weather is mild and the crowds are smaller.
