It’s not uncommon to have beautiful warm winter days in the Pacific Northwest during the latter part of January. Such as was, on the day I captured this short black and white video along the shore of Puget Sound at Kopachuck State park near Gig Harbor, Washington.
Because the weather was so lovely (at least for a few hour’s break), I spent several hours photographing while walking the beach and the forested trails throughout the park.
In addition to my still images, I captured this “One Minute Landscape” black and white video of the calm waters of the Puget Sound sloshing onto the gravel beach. In the distance is the tiny Cutts Island (a standalone state park itself).
