I recently shared a few photos from my October trip to Yosemite National Park. This set of images focused on scenes from Yosemite Valley.

This week, I’m sharing a few more photographs that convey the beauty of Yosemite high county.

Many visitors start and end their Yosemite visit in the valley. If Yosemite Valley is all one sees, the sights are amazing on their own.

To further experience what Yosemite offers, a trip over Tioga Pass will add a new perspective.

State Route 120 traverses the national park through the Sierra Nevada and over the highest pass in California at 9,943 ft.

The photos I’m sharing express what I felt were the highlights of my drive over Tioga Pass.
